This year’s Sutton Supremo leadership group started with a launch evening in October with 46 students from St Philomena’s and Carshalton Boys. The Sutton Supremo scheme for the year was outlined and they also took part in team building excercises.

All students will complete the LYG Games Force Award which is a 4 hour course outlining the basic principles of leadership, outlining roles & responsibilities of volunteers within a competition arena.

Students will receive a log book to record volunteering hours, a T-shirt and attend at least one other leadership course – The Sutton SSP have already run a badminton course and a Junior Football leaders course this term (see other article)

Students will be expected to help out at their own primary cluster events, borough sports events and with London Youth Games events.
