The annual borough cross country took place at Northey Avenue once again, with secondary schools running in the morning and primary schools racing in the afternoon. It was fantastic to see over 900 pupils running over the course of the day from 34 different schools.

Top finishers have the opportunity of representing Sutton at the London Youth Games event in November and the Surrey Cross Country in January.

Our thanks go to Sutton Grammar for hosting the event again and to Carshalton Boys Supremos leaders who did such a great job with officiating and running at the front or back of races. Primary pupils were also kept extra safe with a band of volunteer marshals – a big thank you to all those people who did a sterling job to maximise safety around the course.
