It was another day to remember for Y9 student Alex Lennon who attends Wilson's school and trains at Sutton & District AC. He marked his debut run for his country at the Home International held at Pembrey Country Park with a winning performance on Saturday 26th March. 

Alex had already come 2nd at The English Schools Cross Country earlier in March, but made it one better by winning the Home International held in Wales. The England team dominated the 2022 SIAB Schools Cross Country International as they took all six team events, 11 of the 12 available individual medals and all four individual titles.

It was a fantastic performance once again from Alex, who has clearly gone from strength to strength in his running this year. Well done and congratulations from everyone at Sutton SSP!
