St Philomenas Supremos help with Multi-skills festival
BackAs part of the SGO summer offer, Year 4 at St Mary's Primary School recently enjoyed an afternoon of fun participating in an alternative multi-skills festival. The event was enhanced by the presence of 17 Supremo Academy leaders from St Philomena's secondary school.
The aim of the afternoon was to practice all the basic core skills in a stimulating but non-competitive manner. Familiar activities but with a twist. Stations included long-rope skipping, bulls eye, 'bounce bomb', gutter ball races, 'cricket boule' challenge and juggling.
We are very grateful to St Philomena's for suppling such a brilliant group of leaders. Their enthusiasm was very infectious, obviously enjoying finally being able to help deliver an event after a year of in-house leadership training.
