Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development (SOLD) is Surrey County Council’s (SCC), not for profit, outdoor learning service. We are passionate and confident about the contribution teaching children outdoors can make to their health, wellbeing, engagement and development.

Due to increasingly sedentary lifestyles for our children and young people, the outdoor environment an extremely healthy place to be and often provides a perfect alternative learning environment in a variety of subjects.
