PLEASE ARRIVE BY 9AM FOR THE MORNING SESSION

• The competition will consist of the following categories for the LYG qualifier
• KS 3 (Y7-9)
• KS 4 (Y10 -11) **
• SEND (Y7-13)
• KS 3 competition will be held in the morning from approximately 09:30 – 12.00 
• KS 4 competition will be held in the afternoon from 13:00 – 15:30.
• Each school will be able to bring a maximum of 30 and minimum 5 dancers for each entry.
• Mainstream schools are only permitted to have one entry per age category.
• SEND Schools can enter a total of two performances if desired in am or pm sessions
• Dances can be any style but must have original choreography.
• KS3 dances will be a maximum of 3 minutes and KS4 a maximum of 4 minutes.
• Each school will be given a 5-minute slot to mark out and run through dance prior to the start.
• Each piece must be submitted with a Title and a Dance Description (max 150 words) which will be used by the judges to gain an understanding of the concept of your dance.
• Schools must provide music to Sutton High in MP4 format one week before the event.
• If there is demand from schools, we may offer a separate category which includes KS5 students. This would be run as a borough competition.

• **KS4 = permissable to have younger students

  Strictly no KS5 students permitted for the LYG mainstream pathway categories.
